Casey was a kind and gentle soul who was drawn to nature and the outdoors. He spent time living in Colorado and visited national parks all across the country. Casey particularly loved his adventures in California, hiking the Adirondack Mountains in New York, and spending time along the peaceful shores of Lake Huron in Northern Michigan.
Always seeking adventure, Casey enjoyed riding his mountain bike, motorbikes, and skateboard. He was an avid fan of Cleveland sports, and rarely missed watching a Browns or Cavs game with his dad. Casey loved spending time with his family, and was a devoted uncle to his twelve nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as “Grandpa Casey.”
Casey will be dearly missed by his parents, Garry and Stephanie, and his siblings: Christopher (Alyson) Appleton, Katie Appleton (Patrick Kane), Caroline (George) Barrie, and Kelley Appleton (Wesslen Cantwell). He is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Roo, and is survived by his loving companion dogs, Ruthie and Loro.
He was a kind man
There is no good-bye
I will see you later
I am a kind man
I am a warrior
I am a son
I am a brother
I am a sacred part of creation
I love you.
