

Erin Michelle (Sierschula) Abbot, age 47, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on June 1, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 2, 1977. At six months old, her family moved to Dayton, Ohio, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. Erin was a 1996 graduate of Archbishop Alter High School. After high school, she continued her education at Ohio University and graduated from the College of Business with a degree in accounting. Erin became a licensed CPA and was the Global Controller for Envision Pharma Group in Dublin, Ohio.
Erin loved to be outside and was an avid gardener. She loved camping and spending time on Buckeye Lake with her family and friends. Buckeye Lake held a special place in her heart since that is where she met her husband, Sean. She loved home projects and DIY and even renovated her own home. Erin was named 40 over 40 through Leadership Columbus and participated with After School All Stars Ohio.
Erin was a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Sean Abbot, and their three beautiful children, Lincoln Munro, Presley Starr and Eliza Mae. Erin will be deeply missed by her mother, Bonnie Sierschula; mother-in-law and father-in-law Bill and Denice Abbot; siblings Mark (Abby) Sierschula and Matthew (Jessica) Sierschula; siblings-in-law Erica Daft and Adam (Kate) Abbot; and her two dogs, Jasmine and Stella. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Erin is preceded in death by her father, Gary R. Sierschula.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
The family would like to thank everyone who have supported Sean, Lincoln, Presley and Eliza and Erin’s whole family during this time. Thank you for the kindness that you have shown the family and the love you continue to show for Erin.
