Ken Cassidy

Kenneth Allen Cassidy, 77, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at Kobacker House Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Ken will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Born on January 1, 1949, in Springfield, Ohio, Ken built a long and respected career as a Risk Manager with Lancaster Colony/Marzetti until his retirement. Known for his quick wit, sharp intelligence, and warm sense of humor, he had a gift for making others feel at ease and bringing laughter to any room.

Ken loved playing golf, but nothing brought him more joy than time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, cheering them on, or simply being present, “Grandpa Ken” cherished every moment with Drew and Will.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene (Allen) Cassidy; his sister Pat; his brother Jerry; and his beloved daughter Jennifer Arnold.

Ken’s legacy of love and kindness lives on in those who survive him: his wife of more than 50 years, Carolyn (Cordle) Cassidy; his sister Betty (Don) Byers; his son Jason (Nancy) Cassidy; his son-in-law Daren Arnold; and his cherished grandchildren Drew and Will. He is also remembered fondly by numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Linworth United Methodist Church, 7070 Bent Tree Blvd, Columbus, Ohio, with interment immediately following at Union Cemetery.
