Larry Wayne Ball, age 75, of Hilliard, Ohio previously of Akron, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was born in Akron, Ohio on May 18, 1949. Larry spent hours in his garage woodturning. He enjoyed bird watching, the beach, and taking impromptu trips with his late wife, Charlene. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Sergeant in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Ball; parents Oral and Margaret (Hambel) Ball. Larry is survived by his sons Steven Ball (Julie McKelvey) and Jason (Angie (Cichon)) Ball; sister Karen Huff (Diane Hill) and grandson Avery Ball.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a service immediately following at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. Larry’s family will lay him to rest beside his wife at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road Seville, Ohio 44237 on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:45am.
