She entered the world on June 8th 1924, in Letchworth, England (a daughter of Constance Davidson & John Adams) one of five sisters whose shared journey she has now completed. Her years were filled with purpose; first in an office, then as a telephone operator, vocations that required a spirit of ‘connection’ (and in 1942, she connected with Henry … marrying him in 1944)
From their union grew a family: a son, Alan, in 1948; a daughter, Janette, in 1952; followed by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. This is her true legacy, not in titles, but in the quiet, enduring love she cultivated and leaves behind.
She understood that the simplest gestures often hold the greatest strength … a comforting kiss, a shared pot of tea, a steadfast & open heart. Her life reminds us that we must, in the end, judge our days not by their length, but by the depth of love we have given and received. In that respect, hers was a life of profound success.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 29th at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 12:30pm until the time of service.
