

Mary Jean Jauregui (Shenton), passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on December 5, 1973 to Edward and Alice Shenton. The family also included her sister Linda, and her two brothers, Robert and Mark.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Adam, and two children Owen (age 16) and Olivia (age 12). Her siblings are: Robert and Kelly of Dublin, OH; Linda Kell (Thomas) of Trenton, MI; and Mark (Lisa) of Farmington Hills, MI. She is aunt to many nieces and nephews: Allison (Tommy Dahlborg) and Hannah; Megan (Isiah Law), Lauren, and Jay Solano; and Cole, Luke and Drew Shenton.
Mary was raised in Trenton, MI and was a 1992 graduate of Trenton High School. She is a 1996 graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI. After some time in Caledonia, MI, the family moved to Powell, OH, where Mary progressed through the ranks at Southern Glazer Wine and Spirits, eventually landing the title of Trade Development Manager.
Mary met her husband Adam Jauregui and they were married on April 16, 2005 at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Caledonia, MI. The wedding was part of a family celebration that also included his parents Daniel and Katherine Jauregui (MI) and his sister Emily Jauregui (MI).
Mary had a strong love for her husband and her children, and all of her family. As active members of Linworth United Methodist Church, Mary held multiple leadership positions. She loved dance, and special times walking the dogs with her husband, Adam. Mary’s passion for sports was undeniable as was her love for an active lifestyle was very apparent with her 7:00 am Barre3 classes.
Mary had a spirit of sunshine and energy and was a passionate, loving and supportive Mother that will be missed by all!
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page for the Jauregui family has been set up for donations to help the family.
The family also encourages everyone to donate blood to your local blood bank.
