With hearts full of love and gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of Myrna Uson Pangalangan, 77, on February 19, 2026, at her home in Hilliard, Ohio.
Myrna was born on July 10, 1948, in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Jaime and Felicidad Uson. She was raised in a home filled with faith, love, and laughter—virtues she carried throughout her life.
For 52 blessed years, she was a devoted and loving wife to her beloved husband, Hilario Pangalangan. Together, they built a life rooted in faith and family, raising three children who were the pride and joy of her heart: Laurence Pangalangan, Alex Pangalangan (Casey), and Marissa Donovan (Kevin). Her legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren—Clara, Aiden, Ethan, Audrey, Jacob, and Cameron—who lovingly knew her as “Lola.”
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Rudy Uson (Nita), Stella Montemayor (the late Arthur Montemayor), Ramon Uson (Perla), Lorna Umali (Angel Sr.), Reynald Uson (Marivic), Cora Uson, and Teresa Uson; by her beloved cousins, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of family and friendship; and by her many nieces and nephews and their families, who affectionately called her “Tita Met.” She now joins, in eternal rest, her dear parents Jaime and Felicidad Uson, her sister Corazon Uson, and her brothers Boy, James, and Eduard Uson.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Myrna lived each day with quiet grace and a steadfast heart devoted to the Lord. She found great peace in praying the Holy Rosary to Mama Mary, which she recited faithfully every day, and she attended daily Mass with love and devotion. She also found joy in tending to her garden, where she often said she felt closest to God. Her faith, compassion, and devotion to prayer guided her throughout her life and remain an enduring example to all who knew her.
We will forever treasure the joy of her laughter, the warmth of her smile, her gentle spirit, and the love she so freely gave. Though our hearts ache with loss, we find comfort knowing she has returned to the loving arms of our Lord.
