April 6, 1931 – October 28, 2025
It is with profound sadness and immense love that we mourn of our beloved mother Patricia
Starrett Lee White, who passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025 at the age of 94 in Plain
City, Ohio. She was a remarkable woman who lived an extraordinary life defined by her grace,
strength, and unwavering love. Born on April 6, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts, Pat attended
Dana Hall School and later the University of Arizona, where she met the love of her life, Peter L.
White, her husband of 67 years. Together, they built a beautiful, close-knit family full of love,
laughter, and joy.
Wherever they lived—whether in Massachusetts, California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana,
Kentucky, Maine, Ohio, or abroad in Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Cameroon—
Pat made every place feel like home. Along with Peter, she was a founder of “The Suburban
Players” in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1963, an amateur theatrics organization still operating to
this day. She was the anchor and guiding light of our family, a woman of deep generosity who
formed lifelong friendships across the world and gave selflessly to those in need.
Pat was preceded in death by our dear father, Peter L. White, and our beloved brother, S. Scott
White. She is survived by her children Patricia White Deane (John), Alexis White (Monica),
Sonia White Soltero (Jose) and daughter-in-law Cindy White; her grandchildren Donovan,
Logan, Michael, Kevin, Stephen, Christopher, and Alexa; and her great-grandchildren Grant,
Braiden, Fintan, Griffin, Peter, Nicholas, Patrick, and Natalie. She also leaves behind her
beloved sister Stephanie Mann, and countless extended family members and friends across the
United States and around the world.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on November 21, 2025 at 10:00 am at
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2001 Northwest Blvd., Upper Arlington, OH 43212.
