Richard “Ricky” Bozzo, 61, of Powell, Ohio, previously of Country Club Hills, Illinois, passed away on January 18, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1963, in Blue Island, Illinois, to Barbara and the late Gino Bozzo.
Ricky was a member of the Happy Day/SouthStar program while living in Illinois and later joined The Alpha Group in Delaware, Ohio. He was a life-long Special Olympics participant and a member of the St. Joan of Arc Men’s Club. He loved being around the fire departments of both Country Club Hills and Powell, particularly enjoying the firetrucks and getting to know the firefighters.
Ricky was the beloved son of Barbara and Gino Bozzo. He was the loving brother to Victoria, Michael Todd (Yvonne), Peter (Sarah), Alyson, and Amy. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces Bradley, Kate, PJ, and Nicholas.
Visitation will be at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Sunday January 26, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday January 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM; 10700 Liberty Rd Powell, OH 43065.
