Bob was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and devoted his career to serving others as a pharmacist—a role that perfectly reflected his caring nature and his desire to help people. He also served his country as a member of the United States Army, a commitment he carried with pride throughout his life.
Bob was known for his carefree spirit, quick wit, and unmistakable laugh. He had a remarkable ability to find humor in everyday life—often of the delightfully inappropriate variety—and never missed an opportunity to share a joke. One of his favorite rituals was calling his son-in-law, Taylor, to pass along whatever joke he’d heard on 700 WLW that day. A loyal Cleveland Browns fan, Bob could often be found listening to the radio, smiling at a story, or simply enjoying a good laugh.
Above all, Bob cherished his family. His proudest accomplishment was his daughter, Chelsea. In recent years, he found renewed joy in becoming a grandfather to his granddaughter, Montana, who brought light, purpose, and happiness into his days. In his final months, time spent with her meant the world to him.
Bob is survived by his beloved daughter, Chelsea Cerimele, and her husband, Taylor Cerimele; his grandchildren, Montana and Jaxon; and his former wife, Kathryn Coury.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lindsey Schneider; his parents, Jeanette (Ghist) Schneider and Howard Schneider; his brothers, Steven Schneider and James Schneider; and his loyal dog, King.
Bob left an unforgettable impression on everyone who met him. His humor, warmth, and love for life will be deeply missed—and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to Stop the Suffering Animal Rescue, a cause close to his heart, as he loved animals immensely. https://www.stopthesuffering.org/
