

William “Tyler” Hockman, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 11 at age 50 at his home in Dublin, Ohio. Born on December 13, 1974, in Upper Arlington, Ohio, Tyler’s life was a melody of love, strength, and unwavering positivity.
A graduate of Columbus Academy and Miami University, Tyler built a successful career in financial services, primarily at Huntington Bank, where his sharp intellect, leadership, and humor left a lasting impact. Beyond work, his passions included music, golf, cooking, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Above all, Tyler was a family man. His love for his wife, Jenny, and daughters, Lyla and Meredith, was boundless. He cherished every moment, from quiet snuggles to cheering at horse shows and playing in the pool. His kindness, patience, and laughter made him a cherished friend and an irreplaceable presence in the lives of those who knew him.
Tyler fought cancer with remarkable courage, inspiring all who witnessed his strength and grace. He leaves behind his wife, Jenny; daughters, Lyla and Meredith; father, Michael; sister, Michelle; brother, Todd; niece, Ellis; nephew, Rex; and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother, Diane.
A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at the Dublin Schoedinger, 5980 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Sunday, March 2, at 2:00 p.m.
