I just learned of Carolyn's passing.  I am so sorry.  She was an amazing woman.  We will all miss her.  Chuck, Carolyn, my husband, Sandy, and I traveled together several times.  I treasure the memories of those wonderful trips.  Carolyn was so proud of her daughters. sons-in-law and grandson.  May her memory be a blessing for all of us.  My thoughts are with you, Tracy and Jennifer.

Dear Tracy, Jennifer, and all of Carolyn's family,

Carolyn was truly an amazing person, as you well know!  Her memory will be cherished by all of us.  May the love of family and friends give you comfort and may the love of God give you peace.  

We have sent a check to Bethany College for the Messiah Endowment in Carolyn's memory.  We attended the dinner at Bethany when your parents were introduced as the couple who so generously endowed the Messiah Festival of Music and Art with such a wonderful gift.  That gift will continue to support the singing of the Messiah and give inspiration to so many, now and in the future.  Since your parents met in rehearsals for the Messiah when your mom was at Bethany and your dad stationed at the nearby Air Force base in Salina, we thought it a fitting way to remember her and continue the Messiah tradition.

Your mom's gift of music has given pleasure to so many and her memories will long be with all of us who knew her. We send our sincere sympathy to all of you.

Dear Family of Carolyn, We send our deepest sympathy to you.  Carolyn was an amazing person.  She contributed so much to St Mark's Cathedral through her leadership of the children's choir and participation in the cathedral choir, arts festivals, vacation church school and many other areas.  She was a lovely, talented person whose friendship we all enjoyed.

I always loved Carolyn's sense of wry humor, her elegance and the amazing photographs she took!  I remember the incredible Buche de Noel she and CHuck made over the holidays.  What and elegant and kind lady.  My condolences to all of you.

Carolyn was a marvelous neighbor of ours on Fifth Street, always full of good cheer, humor, and a generous spirit . Her courage was matchless; it was a privilege to know her.  I will think of her and Chuck expressing their always generous hospitality among the saints.

I am so sad to hear of Carolyn's passing.  I spent several years under her wing, learning piano and other quirky instruments from her, and I was in awe of her grace, passions, and intelligence.  She was so gifted and I cannot be more grateful for the memories I have of her.  Sending you all peace and love!

We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your beloved mother and our dear friend! She and your father had touched so many people's hearts. I am especially grateful to them for their encouragement, support and inspiration in my artistic pursuits. 
Though not with us physically, their rich legacy of graciousness, generosity, civility, kindness, and compassion for their fellow man will live forever in our hearts! 
We are so sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral service, because we have to be in Minneapolis for a prior appointment, but our hearts will be with you. Life must go on, so please take good care of yourselves!

Your mother will always hold a special place in my heart as a beautiful, gifted, generous woman, and friend to my mom, Corinne Johnson, for many years. May the lives of those she loved so much remain a testament to her grace and goodness. I am so so sorry for this moment in your lives.
