

He was born on August 26, 1994 to Melody Krattenmaker and Donald Bloom Jr. He graduated from Epiphany Middle School in Coon Rapids and Unity High School in Duluth. Colten was employed as a roofer in Eau Claire, WI. He loved hunting and ice fishing but he was happiest when he was playing Frisbee golf. He would play in all weather conditions during any season or any time of the day or night.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Morgan Krattenmaker; all great grandfathers; and his great Grandma Bloom.
Colten is survived by his love, fiancée Sara Shepersky; parents, Melody and Marc Krattenmaker and Donald Jr. and Tina Bloom; Colten was a wonderful big brother who would do anything to protect his sister, McKenna and brother, Carter. He also loved and cared very much for his brother, Ian; grandparents, Bill and Verla Bundschuh, Donald Sr. and Jane Bloom, and Charles and Antoinette Krattenmaker; and great grandmothers, Lois Meyer, Christine Bundschuh, Millie Krattenmaker, and Grandma Johns. He had a special relationship with his uncle Joe and auntie Tiff and their three boys. He will also be missed by other aunts, uncles, and cousins; Tony and Becky Bundschuh and their two boys and Matt and Julie Krattenmaker and their son and daughter. Colten was also a special part of his fiancée Sara’s family, who all loved him very much and considered him part of their family.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2nd at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Rd, in Duluth.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3rd, with Visitation one hour prior, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery, Coon Rapids, MN.
