Diane was born in May of 1939 to Howard and Alice Diebel.
A lifelong resident of Duluth, Diane married Warren “Smitty” Smith, also of Duluth, in August of 1960. Together they raised two children, Richard and Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years; her parents; and brother, Howard Duane Diebel.
Diane is survived by her children, Richard (Dawn Linder) and Jennifer (Mike Schrage); and brothers, Bob and Don Diebel.
The family would like to thank the staff at Diamond Willow for the wonderful care given to Diane.
Visitation: 11 a.m. until the Noon Memorial Service on Tuesday, November 19 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N 56th Ave W, in Duluth.
