Earl Raymond Swanson

Earl was born on June 4, 1932 to Reuben and Violet Luella (Wilson) Swanson.

High School graduate and United States Air Force veteran.

Earl was employed in the shipping industry with Cutler Magner.

He loved the outdoors; camping, fishing and hiking.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl A. (Swanson) Adams; and two sisters, Ruby Swanson and Delores Heski Swanson.

He is survived by his two children; Sandy (Swanson) Case and Gary Swanson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell (The late Tille) Swanson of Duluth and Donald (Barbara) Swanson of Eagan; sisters, Marie (The late Kenneth) Peterson of Duluth, Bernice (Clyde) Erikson of Hermantown and Debbie (Terry) Wick of Two Harbors; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A private service will be held September 10th, 2010
