Hanna Ness

Hanna was born on June 28, 1927 in Ballantine, Montana to Jacob and Lena Hill.

Hanna graduated from Huntley Project High School in Worden, Montana in 1945.

She was united in marriage to Robert Edward Ness on October 13, 1951. They moved to Minnesota with their children, Lana and Judy in 1960. Once in Minnesota, they extended their family with two more children, Brenda and Mark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandson, Nicholas Holappa and siblings, Victor, John, Lydia and Jake.

Hanna is survived by her children, Lana Anderson, Judy (James) Cooper, Brenda (Richard) Holappa and Mark Ness; grandchildren, Jaime Landfried, Kari Anderson, Jeni Anderson, Sarah Lazar, Rebecca Riesinger, Jessie Lapham, Benjamin Cooper, Kelly Cooper, Brooke Ness, Dakotah Ness; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; siblings, Clara, Adam, Rosie, and Minnie; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 12 Noon until the 1:00 pm Funeral Service on Friday July 31, 2015 at the Bell Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Oneota Cemetery.
