

His family moved to Duluth when he was a child. Keith attended Central High School.
He joined the Navy in 1958 and served until 1962, most notably during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He worked for 23 years at Reserve Mining Company and made many lifelong friends with his fellow Duluth carpool buddies.
Keith moved on to working construction and retired in 2004 as a heavy equipment operator.
He was an avid animal lover and had many special pets throughout his life. Keith was a very talented artist, woodcarver and carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and three sisters.
He leaves behind his daughter, Kristi; former wife, Gracelynn; brother-in law, TJ Vanderford; many special nieces and nephews, and good friends, Lloyd and Doug. Keith also had a special bond with former son-in-law, Christopher Wanek.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service, Tuesday, May 17 in Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W., Duluth.
