Lucy Catherine Tapa

Lucy was a lifelong resident of Duluth, and she was a terrific homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and listening to the Twins on the radio. Lucy is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl; grandson Rodney Solem; siblings Fritz and John Lindner, Delores Larson.

Lucy is survived by her children, Danella (Dave) Solem, Lloyd (Eileen) Tapa, Louella Jentoft, Darrell (MaryAnn) Tapa; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Helen Trettevik; extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Saturday December 11, 2010 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Bell Brothers Jarvi Dowd Chapel, 925 E 4th St., Duluth (218) 722-5131.
