

He attended Lester Park Elementary School, East Junior High School, and graduated from Central High School. He then attended Duluth Junior College (at Denfeld).
Warren married Viola E. Berg in 1939 and together they had three daughters- Jean Karen, Judith Ann, and Margaret Ruth.
He was an optician his entire career at Twin Ports Optical/Opticians, a company that his father started in 1913. After his father retired, Warren became the owner. Warren was active in the community and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club#25, Kitchi Gammi Club, and Northland Country Club. He was an avid golfer into his 90’s and an expert cribbage player, both of which he enjoyed with good friends. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; daughter, Judith; granddaughter, Heather; sisters, Helen Olsson and Ruth Pearce; brother-in-law’s, Ed Olsson and Clyde Pearce.
He is survived by his daughters, Jean (J Clark) Laundergan of Esko MN and Margaret Askeland of Winnipeg Manitoba; granddaughters, Laura and Kelsey Anderson of Winnipeg Manitoba; grandchildren, Jeff (Jeanette) Laundergan of Duluth and Jeremy (Rebecca Butler) Laundergan of Duluth; great grandchildren, Jacob and Jonah Laundergan of Esko, John and Michael Butler of Duluth; and his special friend Betty Plaunt of Duluth.
