

November 1, 1924 - January 21, 2015, aged 90.
Kelly passed away peacefully in her sleep January 21, 2015.
She is survived by her loving husband George of 66 years, and by her children, Anne Sanderson (John), Sandy, David (Caroline), John (Brenda), Reg (Kathy) and 10 grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by family and friends. Kelly was born and raised in Vancouver. During the war she worked in the Boeing factory in Vancouver. She always wanted to travel the world and on her way to Paris she stopped in Toronto where she met George in 1947. They were married in 1948 and returned to Vancouver and raised their family in North Vancouver. They retired to Arbutus Ridge in 1989 where, in her sixties, she took up golf. Kelly made many good friends at the Ridge. She loved to travel and was a keen student of languages. Kelly spoke French and Spanish and made it to France later in life. She had an astounding memory for detail. Kelly was proud of her Irish and Scottish background and stayed in touch with many relatives in both places.
