Patricia Irene Simpson

1943-2021

Pat (Grammy) passed away peacefully in Chemainus on August 16, 2021 at the age of 77.

Pat is predeceased by dad Wilfred Reason, mum Betty Favel, step dad (Vic Favel) and her husband Kevin Simpson.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children Jim, Theresa (Daniel), grandchildren Cassidy (Isaiah), Kevin (Mia), Dylan; great grand child Ariel. Her siblings Barb, Mike (Maureen). Nieces and nephews David (Andrea), Dean (Jodi) and Amanda (John). Daughter-in-law Rhonda and many, many friends.

Pat grew up in Victoria, graduating from Vic High. Her passion was in the typesetting business, where she worked at Alston Graphics, until she retired. Kevin and Pat were members of the Victoria Motorcycle Club for many years, where they made many life long friends.

After retirement, Pat developed at passion for gardening and became at master gardener. She loved getting her hands in the dirt and helped friends with their gardens along the way. “Grammy” loved to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren, Cassidy, Kevin and Dylan. Pat had a wonderful sense of humour and an amazing shining spirit.

She will live on in our hearts forever. Mom and Dad are together again xoxo.

A Celebration of life for Pat will be held on Sunday, September 12th from 9:30am-noon at Centennial Park in Central Saanich at the large covered area. All are welcome! .
