

Bryan Douglas Thompson, 45, passed away on March 13, 2016, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 23, 1971, to Wiley Lee and Betty Wells Thompson. Bryan grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and attended South Grand Prairie High School. Bryan married Charlotte Brady in 1992 and they became the proud parents of Tanner Douglas Thompson in 1993.
Bryan worked for The City of Grand Prairie Water Department, where after saving the life of one of it’s citizens, he received a proclamation from the Mayor and City Council. Bryan owned and operated Specialty Lawns, where he had many customers who considered him family.
Bryan is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Imogene Wells and Aunt, Judy Powell. He is survived by his mother, Betty Wells Thompson of Grand Prairie; father and step-mother, Wiley Lee and Lisa Thompson of Port Aransas; son, Tanner Douglas Thompson of Kaufman; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Melissa Thompson of Red Oak; and niece Tiffany Thompson. Bryan had a host of friends from all over the metroplex and he will be missed by all who knew him
