James M Hardgrove

Jim Hardgrove was born on November 20th, 1940 and passed on November 10th, 2014. He was originally from Algona, Iowa and moved to the Dallas area shortly after serving in the Air Force. Jim was a long time resident of Duncanville, Texas and a devoted patron to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jim and Nelda moved from Duncanville to the Cedar Creek area a few years ago to retire. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nelda Allen Hardgrove; daughter, Cathy Hardgrove Knier; grand children Jacob Knier, Kendall Knier, and Kamdyn Knier. As well as his mother-in-law, Helen Allen; siblings Mary Hardgrove, Linda Burton, Fern Gallagher, Vicki Janousek, Paula Holt, Ann DuPree, and Russ Hardgrove. Jim had many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Bertha Hardgrove; Father, Russ Hardgrove; and Brother, Robert Hardgrove.

There will be a Rosary and a viewing at David Clayton & Sons on November 17th at 6 pm. The funeral will be at Noon on the 18th of November, followed by internment at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas.
