Michael Matthew Smith

Michael Matthew Smith, 45 of Dallas, Texas passed away suddenly on Monday, Dec. 4,2017 at Charlton Methodist Hospital. Mike was born Sept. 10,1972 in Manhattan, New York to Cal and Nancy Smith. The family moved to Texas in 1983. Michael graduated from Sam Houston Highschool where he played Baseball and Football. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. Mike is proceeded in death by both parents. He leaves behind a soulmate, Erin Eans of Dallas, Texas, a daughter Ashley "Cookie" Smith, a son Tyler Smith, and a son Austin all of Arlington, Texas. Brothers Paul Smith of Plano, Texas,and Mark Smith and wife Laywah of Mansfield, Texas, sisters Shelley Smith and husband Michael Murray of Grand Prairie, Texas. Sister Nancy Ditto and Stephen of Glendale, Arizona. A sister Kathy Smith-Antonelli and husband Franky of Fort Worth, Texas. He also leaves behind many neices and nephews, as well as 3 great neices and 1 great nephew. The family would like to thank The Arlington Professional Firefighters Association for their unbelievable generosity and support.
