Dear Joy and Derek and the rest of your family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you feel our Lord's comfort and hope as you mourn, remember, cry and laugh together as you gather together to remember and celebrate you father's (and in-law's)life.

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family and the many friends of HP Werder. Today I sit and wonder why somethings happen the way they do, but it is not for me to question Gods plan for anyone. HP ?w?as a co-worker for 10 years but more than that a good friend.  He was kind and compassionate man with a big heart. His love for people was amazing and his knowledge of plants was vast.  He was a good teacher and a good mentor to those who worked with and under him. HP you will me missed but never forgotten ... Rest in peace my friend.

Rest in peace Hans Peter. I am sorry we lost touch in recent years. Wishing your family much comfort (I am Tilly's step-sister).

Hans, it was a privilege to have you in my life for 9 years, was most definitely the best years of my life, the trips we made will live on in my mind and heart. You will always live in my heart ! Xoxo R.I.P Hans

I will miss my communications with this wonderful person. His quite, peaceful nature was an inspiration to all in such a noisy, fast-paced world.

In his last days, he told me how helpful and loving his family had been. I applaud all of you for your efforts during this stressful period of time. You helped make his final days as tranquil & serene as possible.

I'm sure the gardens look a little bit better in heaven now that H.P. has arrived!
