Passed peacefully with family by her side in her ninety-sixth year following a brief illness at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Predeceased by her dear husband, Harold F. Morris (1972) who was Past-President of the Hamilton Shriner’s Club. Much adored mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Loving mother of Ken Morris (Fran) and Diane Weinwurm (Joseph). Dear grandmother of Katharine Weinwurm and Laurie Lim, and great-grandmother of Joey, Kaeycen, Alexander, and Aeriahna. Irene was a member of The Hamilton Thistle Club on Robinson Street. As a senior, she enjoyed curling and lawn-bowling. In keeping with Irene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Irene, make a donation to a charity of choice or plant flowers in your garden.
