Laquita Faye Whiting

Faye was born on Thursday, September 26, 1946 in Nashville Georgia. She came to Clearwater in 1953 from Tifton, Gerogia, and attended schools in Clearwater and Dunedin. She was a longtime member of Sunset Point Baptist Church in Clearwater.

Faye was a loving mother, daughter and doting aunt.

She retired from the United States Postal Service as a Rural Route Carrier and then Clerk, after 33 years of dedicated service.

Faye is survived by her mother, Fannie Bell Grimes of Clearwater; daughter, Tamara Louise Thomson-Madrishin of Dunedin; son, Joseph "Joey" Thomson of Dunedin; sister, Patricia Ann Scarberry and husband Douglas of Clearwater; brothers, Billy and Bobby Grimes (Becky); loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
