Brenda Jernigan Smith age 67 of Dunn, died Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home in Dunn.
Brenda was born on February 8, 1954 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Arthur Elijah Jernigan and Betsy Watson Jernigan and is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Wood and brothers, Delmer, Elton, Rayvon, Charles and Gilbert Jernigan.
Brenda was a secretary for Don Davis Military Distributors in Erwin.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was very family oriented. She was always busy doing something, she loved to cook, scrapbooking and making quilts, her favorite to quilt were the double wedding band quilts. She also loved to play the piano. She love to travel and enjoyed going to the beach and fishing as well as going to the mountains. She was a collector of cabbage patch dolls and post cards.
She loved meeting new people and making friends, she had become pen-pals with people all over the world. She enjoyed going to concerts.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens Cemetery in Dunn.
She is survived by: A Husband: Conrad Keith Smith of the home.
A Son: Chad Smith & (wife) Patti of Coats, NC.
Brothers: Leon Jernigan & (wife) Linda of Benson, NC; Larry Jernigan & (wife) Shirley of Angier, NC and Jerry Jernigan & (wife) Carolyn of Benson, NC.
Grandchildren: Hailey Smith of Benson, NC and Kieran Belcher of Coats, NC.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. One hour prior to the service.
Due to covid mask are required in the funeral home.
