Mr. Clyde Weldon Lee

Dunn, NC Mr. Clyde Weldon Lee, 76, of Dunn died Sunday, June 22 at his home. He was born October 19, 1937 in Cumberland County, son of the late Troy Franklin and Ruby Haney Lee. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lee and a sister, Frances Register. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 25 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Bishop and Rev. Jerome Pope officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Lee, children, Welda Cavanaugh and husband Tom of Southport, Gary Lee of Dunn, Sylvia Webb and husband Keith of Dunn, Barbara Hudson and Michael Ryals of Plainview, Connie Jernigan and husband Rodney of Dunn and Kim Surerus and husband Michael of Dunn, two sisters, Ethel Baker and husband Robert “Bob” of Greenville, NC and Patsy Wade and husband Odell of Erwin, a sister-in-law, Peggy Lee of Dunn, grandchildren, Lauren Wagstaff, Lee Hudson, Cody Jernigan, Billy Ray Hudson, Tyler Sutton, Rachel Jernigan and Tiffany Lee. The family will receive friends from Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn and other times at the home.
