Ms. Connie Jackson Thornton, 60, of Dunn died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. She was born October 8, 1954 in Harnett County. Her father, Paul Jackson, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Gibbs and husband Roy of Fuquay-Varina and Bridget House and husband Jeff of Myrtle Beach, SC, her mother, Joyce Parker Jackson of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Dunn, and five grandchildren, Caleb Naylor and Aaliyah Naylor both of Fuquay-Varina, Kendra Thornton of Erwin, Tarren House and Trevin House both of Myrtle Beach, SC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
