Gary Grant Carroll

Godwin, NC Gary Grant Carroll, age 64, of Dunn Road, Godwin passed away Tuesday afternoon September 22, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He was born March 28, 1951 in Harnett Co. son of the late Kermit E. Carroll & Mary Emma Williams Carroll. Gary was a 1969 Graduate of Midway High School and worked with Lambert’s Cable Company. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Mingo Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his twin sister Brenda Jean Carroll Wrench and his brother, George Douglas Carroll. He is survived by his son, Kevin Carroll and his wife Amy of Benson, N.C. and by two grandsons, Tyler and Tucker Carroll of Benson, N.C. He is also survived by a brother Mack Bullard & (wife) Gale of Wade, N.C.; sisters Frankie Vann & (Husband) Sammy of Herring, N.C., Sandra Faye Carroll & (husband) Ricky Naylor of Mingo Community, N.C., Judy Bullard of Fayetteville, N.C., and Lola Ann Bogler & (husband) John of Fairfax, Va,. and several nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday September 25, 2015 at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Mingo Church Cemetery Fund at Mingo Church, 1465 Mingo Church Rd., Dunn, N.C. 28334
