Gary Burton Pitts

Gary Burton Pitts, age 54 of Dunn died on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his brothers home.

Gary was born on October 29, 1966 in Sampson County the son of the late Lawrence Pitts and Berlene Autry Pitts.

Gary was a graduate of Midway High School. He had worked at Food Lion Warehouse in Dunn and ran a cleaning service for a couple years.

Gary was known as a kind hearted person, who would give you the shirt off his back. He lived life for today and was a free spirit, he always made every situation, good or bad easier and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He was the one in the room that always made you laugh.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Old Mill Church of God, 170 Williams Lake Rd., Roseboro, N.C.

He is survived by: His Brothers: Brent Crizer & (wife) Debbie of Holly Springs, NC and Larry Pitts & (wife) Tammy of Salemburg, NC.

Nieces and Nephews: April Williams & (husband) Jason; Sherrie Slattery & (husband) Sean; Carrie Crizer and Larry Wayne Pitts & (wife) Morgan.
