Josephine Barefoot Webb

Josephine was born on May 23, 1932 in Harnett County, NC to the late Dalton Barefoot and Betty McLamb Barefoot.

Husband, Robert Webb; A son, Billy Webb; grandson, Greg Webb; great- grandson Finn Leveris; sisters, Irene Barefoot and Betty Frances Barefoot; brothers, Carlie C. Barefoot, Ottis Barefoot, and Johnny B. Barefoot, preceded her in death.

Reading was a true passion of Josephine’s. She loved working in her yard. Josephine was always a hard worker frequently referring to the Hoover days. The love for, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was evident to everyone. Josephine retired from Morganite, and retired two other times.

A daughter Betty Robbins (Mike), of Dunn, NC; a son Gary Webb (Minnie), of Dunn, NC, survives Josephine.

She is also survived by, five grandchildren Justin Leveris (Nadzea), of Dunn, NC; Aaron Leveris (Michelle), of Four Oaks, NC, Mindy Rae Webb (Raul Murciano), Jr., of Apex, NC, Manda Webb, (Joseph Lopez), of Garner, NC, and Anthony Webb, of Richmond, VA: great-grandchildren, Stacy Kate Leveris, Josie “Josephine” Leveris, and Banks Leveris, of Four Oaks, NC; Gaya Hudson, Cora Hudson, Hazel Hudson, of Apex, NC, Patrick Webb and Turner Webb, of Richmond, VA.

Family and friends will gather at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Boyd Beasley officiating.

Immediately following the service, Josephine will be carried to her final resting place by horse and wagon at Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery beside her husband Robert Clyde Webb.
