Kelly Nicole Brewington

She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Junior Brewington and her paternal grandfather Charlie B. Brewington.

On Wednesday, November 2, 1994, Kelly was born to Charlie Junior Brewington and Teresa Ann Brewington in Harnett County, North Carolina.

Kelly had the most beautiful spirit inside and out. Devoted to her family putting their needs and happiness of those she loved before her own. Never meeting a stranger, to her they were only friends she had not met yet. Kelly’s beaming smile was the first thing someone would notice. A smile that was particularly bright and warm describing her true personality.

She loved the beach; Kelly and her mother were “beach buddies”, enjoying every moment spent together.

Kelly was a devoted childcare teacher. Children brought out the best in her. She always dreamed of becoming a “mom”. On Friday, October 1, 2021, her dreams became a reality with the birth of her son “Nate”. Nate was the new sparkle in her eyes showing her true unconditional devoted love. He was her life as everyone knew it!

Kelly is survived by her son, Nathaniel “Nate” Charlie Brewington, of the home; her mother, Teresa Stanley Brewington, of Dunn, North Carolina; her sister, Kimberly Wilkins, and husband Aaron, of Coats, North Carolina; her maternal grandmother, Edna Stanley, of Dunn, North Carolina; her maternal grandfather, Buddy Stanley, and wife, Kathy, of Erwin, North Carolina; paternal grandmothers, Bessie Bogner, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and Rosetta Brewington, of Dunn, North Carolina; her nephew Samuel Wilkins, niece Kylynn Wilkins, Nephew Axton Wilkins, all of Coats, North Carolina and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Kelly touched the hearts of many and her smile will carry on with all those she met.

On Monday, July 3, 2023, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Restoration Church, 901 Old Fairground Rd Willow Spring, NC 27592.

A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Restoration Church with the Rev. Josh Brown officiating.

At other times the family will be at her home, 202 Greenfield Dr Dunn, NC 28334.
