Lois Warren, age 72 of Angier, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at her home. She was born on November 6, 1946 in Harnett County, North Carolina to the late Jim Wellons Johnson and the late Burchel Blanche Faircloth Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lewis Warren and her sister Margie Hall. Lois was a strong woman who loved working with her hands. Her flower gardens would rival those of royal palaces! One of her favorite past times was woodworking with Jerry. She would design furniture and Jerry would create it out of wood. She wasn't to be outdone by her husband though, she too would grab a saw and some nails and build some of the most beautiful pieces of furniture you have ever seen! She loved to sew and do little craft projects. She loved her family, especially them grandbabies. Lois spent a great deal of time in the great outdoors, fishing and camping and occasionally hunting. She was a phenomenal cook and was known for her homemade biscuits. More than anything, she loved her Lord and Savior, whom she has now seen face to face.
Lois leaves behind to honor her legacy, her daughter: Daphne Williams of Angier; son: Johnny Barefoot, Jr. of Pine Level; grandchildren: Jeremy Denton, Brittany Barefoot, Susan Barefoot, Sophia Williams, and Jeffrey Creech; great-grandchildren: Noah Denton, Isabela Martinez, Holden Wayne, Maddox McElveen, Graceland McElveen and Justin Creech; sisters: Gayle Flowers and husband Gerald of Kings Mountain and Jane Vaughan of Raleigh; brother: Wayne Johnson and wife Darlene of Raleigh.
