Ms. Sherry Hope Sills, age 52 of Savannah Hill Rd., Dunn died Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Vidant Hospice House in Greenville, N.C.
Sherry was born November 5, 1969 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Sills and Susan Paulette Dean and is preceded in death by Ashley’s Father, Wallace Wayne Gibson.
Sherry was employed at Denny’s in Selma where she was a server for 15 years. She loved her family and they came first, but she enjoyed her job because she loved meeting new people. She was a strong, independent person and a fighter. She was kind, funny and even humorous at times. She loved everybody and never met a stranger.
Sherry was an “All American Girl.”
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Sills Family Cemetery on Green Path Rd. Dunn.
She is survived by: A Daughter: Ashley Paulette Gibson of Dunn, NC
A Sister: Dollie D. Sills of Dunn, NC; Nephews: Calvin Pope & Jessi Maitland, Quentin Fann & (Fiancee) Elizabeth; Great-Nephew: Banks Pope.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. Prior to the Graveside.
