Earl W Clifford

December 20, 2020, age 91. Beloved husband of Rita M. (nee Nowakowski) for 69 years; dear father of

Mark (Cindi) and the late Timothy (Susan Jordan); cherished grandfather of Collin (Rachel), Benjamin and Keelan; brother of the late Roland Clifford and loving uncle to Daniel Clifford. Earl delighted also in being a

great-grandfather to Logan and Hailey. While his family was his greatest joy, he also had many other accomplishments. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War and was a past commander of the A.J.

Jurek Post where he was a member for sixty years. He also was a long time member of the Getzville Fire Department. He had a very successful engineering career which afforded him the opportunity to travel the world. He was very proud of being the holder of numerous patents in the areas of medical, packaging and air supply systems. In fact, Earl was a contributor and appeared on the documentary Angry Sky about the first civilian space program which was featured on ESPN’s 30 for 30 as well as being highlighted at the Tribeca Film Festival.
