Elaine M. Ropach

Beloved wife of 59 years to David Ropach; devoted mother of Shara (Tim) Scherer, Brian (Lori) Ropach, and Bradley (Kelli) Ropach; cherished grandmother of Ian, Jacob, Joshua, Elizabeth, Robyn, Avery, and Autumn; loving daughter of the late Walter and Thelma (née Fair) Robinson; dear sister of Walter “Vern” (Sharon) Robinson; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Elaine attended Houghton College, where she met her beloved husband, David, and later earned her Master’s degree from the University at Buffalo. She faithfully served her church through her musical talents and taught music for many years at Hopevale School, as well as offering private piano lessons. Elaine enjoyed spending time at the cottage and traveling with her family. Her faith and her family were the most important parts of her life.
