We extend our deepest sympathies to the Pflazer family. We had many happy memories at AMVETS Post 49 with Trudy and Dick. We loved our breakfasts together,  8:00 Mass at St. Benedict’s and many other happy occasions. Trudy was a remarkable and fun lady. What a baker!! Her apple tortes were a favorite! Trudy loved her “boyfriend” Fred and he loved her! 

You were a very sweet lady with a wonderful smile. I know you are still smiling because you have seen the face of Jesus. May you rest in peace.

Sweet Aunt Gertie - her beautiful smile, her kind words and her faith are what I will always remember about her. I hold such fond memories of family picnics, her amazing potato salad and how deeply she loved family. She will be deeply missed by my mom and Aunt Dorothy but we all know she has been reunited with her beloved. Rest easy, sweet Aunt. Love, Laurie

Forty-four years ago, when my husband and I were moving into the house next door to the Pfalzer’s, I can still hear Trudy calling out to her husband, “Dick, the new neighbors and young couple are here!”  She ran over to our home, welcoming us to the neighborhood,  and from that moment on became an important friend and part of our young family.  Eventually our family grew to 3 children and this wiser and older couple became, “Grandma Trudy and Papa Dick!”  Moving the family to CA was a difficult decision, knowing we were leaving our beloved Pfalzers, but over the years they were never forgotten!  Phone ‘visits’ were a must, and when we visited Buffalo, the Pfalzers were ALWAYS on the agenda to spend time with.  My friendship and love for Trudy has never diminished and I kept her close even after the passing of Dick.  You will never be forgotten Trudy….you are and will always be a most special lady to us, and I know you are finally at peace!  I love you!  Prayers for the entire Pfalzer family during this most difficult time.  May God keep you in his embrace and bring you peace and comfort!

Marsha, Ken and I met your dad in hollywood. He was definitely a very special person, It was very special to meet him. We knew how much he did for you. Stay safe, racing fans forever, Ken and Claire duffy

Sincere condolences to Marsha and the entire Pfazer family.  As a very old friend of Marsha's in Florida, I can only say how sorry I am to have never met Mr. Pfazer and what lovely sentiments from so many in his memory say about his well-lived life.  I will keep everyone in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  Dick was a wonderful man who loved his wife and family more than anything.  Remember when you get sad, look in your heart, cause he is there along with all the great memories that were gathered during this lifetime.

We are sending our condolences to Gertie and the whole Pfalzer family.  We remember his smiling face and upbeat attitude from the Pfalzer reunions.  We recently lost a close family member too.  Our hearts and thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

I will never forget my Mom trying to dress me on my changing table and me looking out my window to see you had just gotten home and me yelling to you, "Pakapa!" I love you and Grandma Trudy. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the Pfalzer's.

Mr. Richard V. Phalzer was the always smiling consumate gentleman that all of us of faith strive to be.

Dick Pfalzer was not only my little leage coach and Boy Scout leader, but a mentor for my life. Recently at 58 I was playing a championship softball game and remembered everything HE taught me about fielding. He was a terrific guy who served his country, his community ,his church and family better than most people dream of. To know him was to learn respect for self and others. I fully plan to see Mr Pfalzer again in Heaven through a mutual Faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
