July 9, 2012, of Holland, NY, age 94 years, loving husband of 66 years to Julia; devoted father of Janice (John) Bos, Joshua (Wendy) Hunter, Cynthia (Richard) Dimitroff, Anne W. (Michael) Stomp; brother of Clara Siebert Hunter of Latrobe, PA;
grandfather of Cindi Anne Hodskins, John F. Hodskins, Patricia (Michael) Sullivan, Shelly (Thomas) Shaver, Sarah A.
(Mahendra) Chintomby, Joshua G. Hunter, Richard C., Daniel H. and Brian N. Dimitroff, and 12 greatgrandchildren; son of the late Joshua Fletcher and Madeline (nee Steinmeyer) Hunter. Mr. Hunter graduated from Cornell University in 1941 where he
was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He served his country in the Merchant Marine during WWII. Mr. Hunter was a corporate safety director of Dunlop Tire & Rubber Co. and retired in 1980. He was a member of Holland United Methodist Church, Partridge Rd. & Rt. 16, where a memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Flowers gratefully declined.
