Terrence "Bud" H. Kirsch

Loving husband of 50 years Cherie L. (nee Minklein); beloved father of Nicole (Carl III) Drechsel, Marc Kirsch, Eric Kirsch; fond grandpa of Trevor, Tyler, Tristan Drechsel; dear brother of Linda (John) Swann, Kathy (Rick) McQueen, Michael (late Cecilia) Kirsch, Cindy (late Bill) Bramer, Kevin (Sue) Kirsch, Cheryl Kirsch. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A longtime resident of Strykerville, Bud served his community as a volunteer fireman for 26 years with the Strykersville Volunteer Fire Company. His unwavering commitment and courage were a cornerstone of the fire department, and he leaves behind a legacy of service and camaraderie that will not be forgotten.

Bud also dedicated over 44 years to Moog Inc. in East Aurora, NY, where he was a valued and respected colleague.

Outside of work and service, Bud was an avid hunter who found joy and peace in the woods. His love for nature and taking long rides through the woods with his wife Cherie on their side by side was matched only by the stories he shared and the memories he created on countless trips.

Friends may call Friday May 2, 2025 from 3-7pm at the Wood Funeral Home 784 Main Street East Aurora, NY 14052. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 10am, followed by an interment at Java Village Cemetery.
