Anna Villa

Anna (Yetishefsky) Villa, 96, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 at Harrington Court Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of William Villa. A long time resident of Glastonbury, Anna and her husband owned and operated Villa’s Orchard for over 30 years.

Her pleasures later in her life were going to Mohegan Sun with her husband and bottle collecting; she made many friends at both endeavors.

Besides her husband of 75 years, Anna is survived by her daughter, Patricia Marra and her husband Alphonse of Colchester; her granddaughters, Michele and her husband Albert Mann of Laguna Niguel, CA; Beth Marra and her husband Kevin Ramey of Centreville, VA; her great grandchildren Michael and Kaelie Mann and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna is predeceased by her son, William Villa Jr.; her daughter, Judith Villa, her brothers, Alex, Michael and John Yetishefsky and her sister Mary Villa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 26th, at 10a.m. at St. Paul Church 2577 Main St. Glastonbury, burial to follow in Linwood Cemetery in Colchester. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 25th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tnpk., Glastonbury.
