Brian Andrew Gromelski

Brian Andrew Gromelski, age 48, beloved husband of Kileen Brown Gromelski, passed away unexpectedly at home after a sudden illness. He was the son of Virginia Martin Gromelski and the late Robert Gromelski. Besides his wife he leaves three daughters; Jessica Virginia, Mariah Elizabeth and Erica Lavender Gromelski. He also leaves two brothers; Greg and Henry (Hank) Gromelski, his two nieces; Mandy and Miranda and nephew Carter. Brian also leaves many brothers and sisters-in-law’s and extended family.

Brian was a Native American of the Mi’Kmaq tribe of Gesgapegiag Gaspie, Canada. He graduated East Hartford High School, class of 1985. Brian was a woodworker by trade for Walpole Woodworkers for many years as well as West Hartford and Yankee Fence Companies. Brian was a hard worker and moonlighted for CSC Security where he was able to enjoy one of his greatest passions of music and bands. Brian was known for lending a helping hand to anyone in need and had countless friends that will forever miss his laughter and beautiful smile.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 4-8pm at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford CT, 06108.
