Brian Patrick Heafey, 46, of Glastonbury, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13th, 2015. Brian was predeceased by his parents Carol and Richard Heafey. He is survived by his sister, Erin Heafey and her partner Grace DeAngelis and their children, Riley and Reagan and many loving friends.
Brian was a skilled carpenter but his true passion was sports. He loved the Red Sox and he was an outstanding athlete in his own right, excelling in hockey, basketball and football. More recently Brian could be found cheering on his friends children at local youth games. He also coached basketball for the Hartford Youth League. In his free time Brian loved fishing, going to the casino and simply spending time with his many friends.
Friends and family are welcome to gather at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury, on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 from 4 to 7PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7PM at Glastonbury Funeral Home. Burial will be held on Thursday, June 25th, in Green Cemetery, Hubbard St. at 1PM.
