Darla Marran Sells

Darla “DJ” Marran Sells, beloved wife and mother, passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Clyde Sells, her children, Paula Scheiblich; Don Marran; Brad (Tori-Ann) Sells, and her beloved grandchildren; Tyler, Suzanne and Brianne. Carla Joye, her eldest daughter, resides in TX, along with grandchildren Rodney, Victoria and Paul. DJ was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, she was predeceased by Dominic Marran. She leaves two brothers, a sister, many nieces and nephews, and a great-grandson, Ulric. DJ was always the life of the party and enjoyed people and entertaining. She was an incredible chef who loved cooking for her family. She brightened the day of anyone she encountered and will be missed by so many whose lives she touched with her effervescent personality.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3-5:45 pm with a prayer service following immediately at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury CT 06033.
