

Born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts on June 7th, 1925 to Ethel (Hatfield) Campbell and David Campbell he lived most of his life in Auburn, Maine with his late wife, Laura.
Harold retired from Bates College in 1986 after serving sixteen years as the college accountant. Prior to joining Bates College, he was employed by the Portland Press Herald and the Boston Post. He obtained his education after serving in the Army during World War II.
He was a former member of United Baptist Church and a Past Patron of Mt. Olivet Chapter OES. Harold enjoyed entertaining and cooking was one of his true passions, especially for the holidays.
Harold is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Laura S.Campbell and is survived by his daughter, Deborah E. Campbell, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Alexxa Harris all of Ellington, CT (formerly of Greene); and nieces and nephews.
Graveside committal prayers followed by military honors will held in June at Steep Falls Cemetery in Steep Falls, Maine.
