Harriet Singh

Our dear mother Harriett Singh of East Hartford, formerly of Castle Hill, Maine daughter of John L. and Hazel (York) Argraves sadly passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at St. Francis Hospital on December 23, 2024 at the age of 80. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Harriett touched everyone that crossed her path, always feeding or sheltering anyone she could help. Fly high dearest Mom, you are now with your sons and siblings.

Harriet is survived by her children; Wanda Clark, George Clark and Pamela Clark whom was her caregiver, sisters Sandra Fettig and Roberta Roy of Maine, brothers Eugene Argraves, Dale Argraves, Milford Agraves and Ronald Agraves all of Maine and her longtime partner Javier. She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harriet was predeceased by two sons; Darren and Wayne Clark and several brothers and sisters.

A Memorial service honoring Harriet's life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10am - 12:30pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford, CT.
