

Kwame Osei-Antwi, 37, of East Hartford, Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Georgina Amoafo- Osei-Antwi. Born to Nana Osei Tutu-Antwi and Cecilia Thompson in London, England on August 10th, 1974. He was a loving and hard-working man who was completely devoted to his family. He was a strong, decent man that led by example.
Kwame will be dearly missed by his wife Georgina and their children: Leon, Unique, Kendra and Dylan Osei-Antwi, his parents: Cecilia Thompson and Nana Safo Agyeman (AKA Mosquito), his sisters: Michelle Safo Agyeman of East Hartford, Alexis Safo Agyeman of East Hartford, Amanda Safo Agyeman of East Hartford, Millicent Osei-Antwi of Kumasi Ghana, Michelle Osei-Antwi of London, Mavis Osei-Antwi of Kumasi Ghana; his brothers Bright Osei-Antwi of Kumasi Ghana, Michael Osei-Antwi of New York, Richard Osei-Antwi of Ghana, MIchael Osei-Antwi of Ghana, Phillip Safo Agyeman of East Hartford, Michael Safo Agyeman of Worcester, Prince Osei-Antwi of Ghana; his uncles and Aunties: Dr. Nana Thompson of Kumasi, Joyce Thompson of Accra Ghana, Napoleon Thompson of Irvin, TX, Benjamin Thompson of Canada, Zigman Boateng of Manchester; his parents in-law, Alex Kwapong Jr. of Ghana and Emmanuel Boateng of Ghana.
Calling hours will be held 4-8PM on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT. 06108. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 22, from 8:30-9:30AM at the funeral home with burial immediately following in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 23rd at the Power Tabernacle Ministries, 3 Bidwell St., East Hartford from 10AM-1PM.
