Leo J. Godreau

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents Valencia Godreau, Louis and Shirley Godreau, his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Richard Pelletier; his children: Carrie and her husband Marc, Christopher and his wife Donna, Crystal and her husband Shawn, Scottie and his wife Chelsea. He also leaves behind 8 cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was an active member of the 1st Company Governors Foot Guard for over 20 years, serving as Adjudant for the last 4 years. He will be most remembered for his dedication to the Foot Guard as well as his love of enjoying life with Cyndy on his Harley.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, E. Hartford, from 12:00-3:00pm, with a memorial service at 3PM, concluding with military honors at the same location.
