

Lynne A. Vespa, 58, loving wife to John N. Vespa and lifelong resident of East Hartford passed away on Sunday (March 21, 2010) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Lynne was born March 7, 1952 in Hartford, daughter of the late Dominic and Alberta (Janovich) Arcari. She worked for many years for Cape Cod Crafters in Manchester as a manager. She loved her job for Cape Cod Crafters, designing and then creating their displays. She was a voracious reader, but above all she was a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandmother and best friend to all that knew her, being with her great nieces Josephine and Evalee Carmicheal, who along with Kayla, brought Lynne much joy. She is survived by husband John Vespa of East Harford and a daughter Amelia “Amy” Vespa and her boyfriend Kevin Diprete and his daughter Kayla: sister in law Jacqueline Carmicheal and her husband Ray of Ellington: cousins Judy Blasko, Arthur and Katherine Mullen: nephews Brian Ehlen, Thomas and Jared Carmichael, Jesse Carmichael and his wife Alexis: and two grand nieces Josephine and Evalee Carmichael. Lynne’s family will be receiving family and friends at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, on Wednesday (March 24th) from 10 – 12 Noon with a funeral service at 12 Noon with the Rev. Gary Richards officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
